What are you thankful for?

This weekend was thanksgiving for us Canadians. I am extremely grateful this year because we got to spend it with both our families. Last year was a very hard year for us and my side of the family so it was refreshing to spend some quality time with the people I love most. We have this tradition with my family where we go around the table and tell everyone what we are thankful for. It’s never an easy thing to be vulnerable especially in front of others but it is a beautiful thing to see.

Another great piece of news is that we have added a new member to our family. Finnegan is definitely a handful and is going to make our lives very interesting and fun. Ben and I had such a low key day today and decided to have a little photo shoot with them. It was a task and a half but I managed to get some good ones in, as well as some pretty hilarious outtakes 😉 that’s real life for ya.

This isn’t going to be a long post, I just wanted to acknowledge how thankful I am for my family and that I don’t want to take anything for granted.

From Ben: Everything that has happened to Eliane and I over the last two years has really taught me to cherish every moment in life. I am truly grateful for our little family and how our love continues to grow through thick and thin. I hope we can inspire people in some way or another to really appreciate life, however messy it may be.

International Women’s Day

Alright so as most of you know I’ve had a hell of a year and it all started on IWD in 2017. Getting fired on that day and having to deal with the side effects…
